AI Image Processing & Data Extraction
To streamline your workflow, TrustBill utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scan uploaded invoice images and PDFs. This technology automatically identifies and extracts key data points—such as amounts, dates, and notes—to pre-fill billing fields for your review.
Importantly, no personally identifiable information (PII) from your profile is used to train these models. Processing is transient and limited strictly to extracting data from the documents you choose to upload. While our AI provides a high-accuracy starting point, you are responsible for verifying all extracted data before finalizing an invoice.
SDKs and Third-Party Services
We utilize the following third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to provide our services:
- Mixpanel & Firebase Analytics: For product analytics and understanding user engagement.
- RevenueCat: To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- Firebase Crashlytics: To identify and fix app crashes.

Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & US States)
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you have specific rights regarding your personal billing data and profile information:
- Right to Access/Delete: As an account-based service, you can view your profile data and multi-currency ledger at any time. You may permanently delete your account and all associated billing threads directly within the app's Settings menu.
- Right to Portability: You maintain a shared audit trail of all invoices, approvals, and payment confirmations. These records are accessible as long as your account remains active.
- Right to Opt-Out: You can control your visibility to other users by toggling the "Discoverable in Search" setting. To stop receiving real-time billing alerts, you can manage push notifications in your device settings.
- Do Not Sell My Info: TrustBill does not sell your personal data or billing history. We share data only with essential service providers (like Firebase or Supabase) to maintain your ledger and provide app functionality.
